Iran hailed its strong relationship with Russia, affirming that the country is the perfect political and trade ally for it.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed that "Russia understands Iran very well, as Moscow itself has been slapped with strict U.S. sanctions."
The foreign minister also accused the United States of attempting to slap countries with extra pressure in order to impose sanctions against Iran.
Zarif further underlined the need for reviving the condition in Syria while bringing back harmony and independence among Arab nations, MENAFN.COM reported.
