Iran plans to start cooperating with international companies that provide aircraft on lease, Iranian Minister of Transport Abbas Akhundi stated during his visit to Oman.
According to Akhundi, in this way Tehran will be able to obtain about 200 aircraft for the renewal of its civil aviation fleet.
Earlier, the Iranian authorities announced plans to purchase 80-90 aircraft from Boeing and Airbus each year, Trend reports.
