Tehran is ready to assist the process of normalization of relations between Moscow and Ankara, Iranian Vice President Ishaq Jahangir said during a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In turn, Erdogan assured that he opposes the escalation of tensions and called for dialogue that will resolve their differences.
In addition, Erdogan said that, despite existing differences between Turkey and Iran on the Syrian issue, these countries should join efforts in the fight against terrorism, Trend reports.
