Iranian Minister of Energy Hamid Chitchian said at the meeting with Brazilian Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Armando Monteiro, that Iran is ready to export gas turbines to Brazil.
He also noted that the two countries could discuss mutually available cooperation opportunities. The minister said that Iran is one of the six countries able to produce large gas turbines. In addition, Chitchian drew attention to the fact that Brazilian companies may finance Iranian hydroelectric power plants.
Monteiro, in his turn, said that renewable energy comprises 85% of his country's electricity output, Trend reports
