A regular meeting of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will take place in Vienna today.
The Joint Commission will be chaired on behalf of EU High Representative Federica Mogherini by EEAS Secretary General Helga Maria Schmid and will be attended by the E3+3 (China, France, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom, United States) and Iran.
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Thomas Shannon will lead the US delegation at a meeting on the Iran nuclear agreement, US State Department said in a press release.
The meeting will offer an opportunity to review the implementation of the JCPOA as far as nuclear and sanctions-related issues are concerned.
The JCPOA was signed in July 2015 between Iran on the one side and China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany on the other.
