The Iranian Minister of Road and Urban Development, Abbas Akhundi, said today that the Iran Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is holding talks with the US to re-launch direct flights.
According to Trend, the managing director of Iran Air, Farhad Parvaresh, in his turn, expressed hope that direct flights between the two countries, which were interrupted after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, will be resumed.
