The Iranian authorities gave a permission to Russian planes carrying humanitarian assistance to Syria to fly through Iranian airspace, the press attache of the Russian embassy in Tehran, Maxim Suslov, said.
"The Russian embassy has received permission for all the requested flights of Russian planes carrying humanitarian aid to Syria," Interfax cited him as saying.
According to earlier reports, Bulgaria banned Russian planes using the country's air space on September 1-24.
