Chabahar Port, which Iran and India will be engaged in developing together, will start functioning in December 2016.
These dates have been announced following a meeting of the coordinating council of the international transport corridor 'North-South', which the port in Chabahar could become part of. The meeting was attended by representatives of India, Iran, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Oman, Tajikistan, Turkey and Ukraine, IANS agency reports.
