The Iranian private bank Iran's Day Bank has begun operating in the international system of interbank transactions SWIFT, the Iranian press reports.
"Iran's Day Bank joining the SWIFT system was the result of long-term work against the background of the sanctions prohibiting foreign banks from carrying out financial transactions with Iran," TASS quoted the general director of the bank Shafizade Ahmad as saying.
