Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Ibrahim Rahimpur met in Tbilisi with the Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and the Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania.
The two sides discussed the expansion of bilateral relations, long-term economic and trade cooperation, as well as deepening of tourist and transit ties, IRNA reports.
During the meetings, the Georgian officials said that there are no obstacles for raising the level of bilateral relations, including cooperation in the banking sphere, Trend notes.
