Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei noted that strengthening Iran's economic power is the most sensitive and important issue.
"One of the main plots hatched by the enemy is using the weak points and economic problems to hit a blow at the Iranian nation, and strengthening the country's economic power is the most sensitive and important issue," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing Army commanders and personnel on the occasion of the National Army Day.
He described the Iranian nation's bravery and resistance against the world powers' pressures as one of the country's strong points, and reiterated that the US saber-rattling would never be able to intimidate Iran, Farsnews reported.
