The 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization joint counterterrorism exercise among member states will be held in Iran, led by the country’s intelligence and security agencies.
Executive Committee Director of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the SCO Olarbek Sharshiev announced the drill, named “Sahand-Counterterrorism–2025,” is scheduled near Tabriz on December 4.
He added that official invitations and detailed schedules will soon be sent to participating and observer countries.
