Iran's ambassador to Kuwait handed a note of protest

The Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait, Ali Reda Enayeti, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry of the emirate today, where he was handed a note of protest in connection with the recent attacks on the Saudi embassy in Tehran and a consulate in the city of Mashhad on Saturday.

It was handed over by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah, who said that his country condemns the attacks and underlines the obligation of Iran to comply with its international obligations to protect diplomatic missions, as well as expressing the support of Kuwait for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to RIA Novosti.
