In Iran there are no restrictions for foreign investors interested in its power industry, the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy of Iran Houshang Felahatiyan stated.
The only exceptions are those countries that are not officially recognized by the Islamic Republic.
The Deputy Minister announced there will be upcoming negotiations in the near future with representatives of European companies. In addition, a number of meetings with several large companies from Germany have already been held, they expressed the desire to participate in power generation projects of Iran. It is assumed that a joint working group will be created in order to prepare the conditions for the start of cooperation with these companies, Iran.ru reports.
