The Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid al-Muallem, visited Tehran, where he held bilateral talks with his counterpart, Mohammad Javad Zarif, and also met with President Hassan Rouhani and the parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani.
They discussed bilateral cooperation and issues of the overall situation in the region.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Syria agreed that the Syrian crisis should be settled by political means, Trend reports.
