Iran starts production of Karrar tanks

Iran is manufacturing its own tank, the Karrar, Iranian Defense Minister General Hossein Dehghan said.

Dehghan added that the Karrar has all the capabilities of the T90.

Previously, the Commander of the Iranian Ground Forces, Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, said the country won't purchase Russia’s T-90 tanks, Trend reminds. "Iran currently plans to use its domestic capacities to meet its demand for tanks," the general said.
