Iran starts production of Nasr cruise missiles

Iran's Ministry of Defense has begun serial production of Nasr short-range air-land cruise missiles, which can hit targets at a distance of 35 km.

The ceremony of launching the missiles into production took place today. Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier-General Hossein Dehghan participated in it.

According to him, Nasr was developed by Iranian experts to enhance the combat power of the armed forces and improve the deterrent arsenal. Combat aircraft and drones will be equipped with cruise missiles.

Production of missiles will allow the Air Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to improve their operational and strategic power dramatically, Trend quoted Dehghan as saying.
