Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi held a press conference in Moscow.
Boroujerdi arrived in Russia at the invitation of Russia’s Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin to take part in an international economic conference titled 'Future of Regions: Development of Cooperation'.
The chairman noted during the conference that today one can say that Turkey's policy in Syria has largely become balanced. "Turkey also suffers from the sinister phenomenon of terrorism that was imposed on Syria," the chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, adding that Iran condemns the plot developed by the United States and Israel to dismember Iraq, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
"The very close cooperation between Iran, Turkey and Iraq led to the fact that this conspiracy was neutralized. The US, desperate to dismember Iraq, has began to impose the same plan on Syria. Sending of hundreds of US military advisers to Syria and training of tens of thousands of Syrian Kurds was done in the framework of such a strategy of the US," the Iranian parliamentarian said.
"Of course, our recommendation to our Turkish counterparts is that they imitate such a model of cooperation that was carried out by Iran, Iraq and the government of Syria, which was undoubtedly supported by Russia. We say that this is the most successful model for neutralizing such plans." Alaeddin Boroujerdi concluded.
