Iran tests two more missiles

Iran has tested two ballistic missiles, local media report.

"Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) test-fired two ballistic missiles in the framework of the ongoing missile drills. The missiles were fired from northern Iran and could hit targets 1400 kilometers away in the southeast of the country," Interfax cited the message of Press TV as saying.

It clarifies that the test took place in line with the country's defense doctrine.

The US State Department spokesman, Mark Toner, said that Washington may bring the question of testing before the United Nations Security Council. And the official representative of the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, said that the UN Secretariat is reviewing information about the launch of Iran's ballistic missiles and an official reaction will follow soon.
