The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, said that Iran will “act appropriately” if US President Donald Trump “tear up” the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
“We can very easily snap back and go back … not only to where we were, but a much higher position technologically speaking,” he told CBCnews in an interview.
“I don’t want to see that day. I don’t want to make a decision in that course, but we are prepared,” he said.
Earlier, Salehi said that tearing up the deal would mean that Iran's program would resume in a new manner that would shock Washington.
