Seven more nuclear power plants in cooperation with Russia is on Iran's agenda, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami said.
Iran and Russia have a protocol for the construction of another seven nuclear power plants, the AEOI head said.
According to him, one of NPPs is operational, two under construction, and five more planned in Hormozgan Province with a total capacity of 5,000 megawatts.
The official recalled that the executive agreement, inked in September between Iran Hormoz Company and Russia’s Rosatom, formalizes plans to build four third-generation nuclear power plant units in the Hormozgan province.
