According to Iranian media, Iran is negotiating with China to purchase Chengdu J-10C multirole fighters from China.
The potential acquisition aims to enhance Iran's air defense capabilities and reduce its technological disparity with with Israel and the USA.
The Chengdu J-10C fighters are reportedly capable of firing long-range PL-15 missiles.
