Iran's Cabinet of Ministers under the chairmanship of President Hassan Rouhani has confirmed necessary consent to get a loan of $500 million from Azerbaijan for construction of the Rasht-Astara railway.
The period for reception of loan and implementation of project is three years, for repayment of loan is 7 years, APA reported.
The Rasht-Astara railway is part of the North-South railway corridor.
