Iran is to begin to export its carpets to the United States again in 2016, the head of the Iranian carpet industry management Hamid Kargar said.
"The high interest of American businessmen in purchasing Iranian carpets shows that supplies to the United States are to start soon," he pointed out.
Earlier, the country could not export its famous carpets to the United States because of sanctions. The lifting of the sanctions against Tehran will allow Americans to buy Iranian carpets legally, APA reports.
