According to the Chief of the Engineering Troops of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Yuri Stavitskiy, the Army of Iran intends to send its deminers to Russia for training at the International Mine Action Center of the Armed Forces.
"We want to tighten the training of engineers of other countries. We have a lot of countries showing interest: Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, and Egypt. This list keeps on growing. I think that next year will be quite busy," RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
