Iran welcomes India's investment in its gas, oil and petrochemical sectors, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said.
Zarif said that Iran is always keen to negotiate with India and welcomes the country's suggestions, the Asian News International (ANI) TV network reported.
Saying that Iran and India can cooperate to serve each other's interests, Zarif pointed out that the economies of Iran and India are complementary.
The minister stressed that Iran needed the Indian goods and services while India was in need of Iranian resources and services as well, IRNA reported.
Zarif further hoped that in spite of the U.S. sanctions on Iran, Tehran and New Delhi would be able to expand cooperate with each other.
