Iranian scientists have wrapped up the design of a new airplane, which should be built by European or US companies for the Iranian civil aviation, the project's manager Alireza Jahangirian said.
He said that the project is under supervision of the Defense Industries Organization of Iran at the moment. The aircraft will have 100-150 seats, Trend reports with reference to the Mehr news agency.
Jahangirian added that foreign companies have decided to consider the production of a new Iranian aircraft after Iran was freed from sanctions.
