Iranian Azerbaijanis demand TV program for children cease broadcasting

Iranian State Television (IRIB) has suspended broadcasting of a television program for children after complaints from Azerbaijanis living in Iran, the press service of the channel reports.

A demand to suspend the popular children's program Fitileh, which was broadcast every Friday, was caused by the fact that during the TV program on November 6th televiewers heard several mocking dialogues in the Azerbaijani language. This has led to complaints from Azerbaijanis living in Iran, Trend reports.
