Iranian Foreign Minister to come to Moscow

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian left for Moscow. As part of his official visit, he plans to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. The key topic of the meeting will be the development of the international transport corridor "North-South". In addition to this, the parties will discuss the activities of the joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.

The heads of the Iranian and Russian foreign ministries will also "compare notes" on issues of mutual interest. In particular, they will talk about the situation in the Middle East region, as well as the implementation of bilateral agreements concluded as a result of the work of the joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
