Iranian Health Minister Hassan Hashemi will arrive in Russia on September 28, the Iranian Embassy in Moscow told Vestnik Kavkaza.
Hashemi intends to open a production line for 'Fingolimod' medicine used in the treatment of the relapsing form of multiple sclerosis in Saint Petersburg on September 29.
During the Iranian minister’s meeting with Russian officials in Moscow, the two sides will exchange views on pharmaceutical and health-related cooperation, and confer on ways for the transfer of technology in the field of medicine and medical equipment.
During the visit, a number of MoUs on health and medical cooperation will be signed between the two countries.
