According to Iranian mass media, 28 members of the Iranian parliament have demanded punishment for the authors of the children's television programs Fitileh, which offended feelings of Azerbaijanis.
The dissatisfaction of the parliamentarians was caused by mocking dialogue in the Azerbaijani language during a program. That is why deputies appealed to the security forces and the judiciary of Iran to take ‘serious and decisive’ measures against those who participated in the creation and broadcast of the program, including directors, actors and experts, Trend reports.
