Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, who arrived in Tehran on Wednesday, held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif for talks on Iran-Turkey ties as well as the most recent developments in the region, Tasnim news agency reported.
They also talked about the results of a recent conference on the settlement of Syria crisis, which was held in the Russian city of Sochi in late January.
Zarif and Cavusoglu also explored avenues for the expansion of economic and cultural relations between Iran and Turkey.
