Iranian gas may be supplied to Georgia next year

Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister of Georgia, Kakha Kaladze, stated about the possible beginning of supplies of Iranian gas to the republic next year. According to him, Georgia has no alternative but to import gas from Iran through Azerbaijan or Armenia.

In this regard, Kaladze expressed the opinion that the purchase of Iranian gas could be a long-term project, and therefore its preparation requires careful work.

As for the bilateral relations between Georgia and Iran, the Deputy Prime Minister described their level as quite acceptable, iran.ru reports.
