The commander of Iran's Emam Reza armored brigade, IRGC general Mohsen Gajarian, was killed in Syria during recent battles against Daesh
According to the Fars agency, the general may have been killed during battles to break the siege of the key Shia towns of Nubul and Zahraa.
At least 4 IRGC commanders were killed in Syria in 2015, including Brigadier-General Hossein Hamedani, Trend reports.
