Oman is a ‘gateway’ for the export of Iranian goods to Arab and African countries. This was said by a member of the presidium of the joint Iran-Oman Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Alavi, after a meeting with members of an Omani economic delegation in Isfahan.
He noted that the Iran-Oman Chamber of Commerce unites about 200 active members, who support close economic ties with Oman and other Arab countries.
Now five Iranian trade delegations have visited Oman, and several Omani delegations have visited Iran. The main purpose is to solve Iranian businessmen’s problems in obtaining visas for travel to Oman, as well as ensuring their long stay in the country, Iran.ru reports.
