Iranian judo champion Mustafa Sheikholeslami has been killed during the protection of holy sites in Syria, Fars news agency reports.
Sheikholeslami was a member of Iran’s national judo team. In the recent months, over 50 officers and soldiers of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have been killed in Syria, APA reports.
