The Ministry of Intelligence and National Security of Iran reported about the suppression of the activities of two terrorist groups in the country.
One of them was neutralized in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan in the east of the country. The terrorists intended to trigger 10 bombs, for the manufacture of which they used about 150 kilograms of explosives, near the eastern border of the country, close to the town of Iranshahr.
Another group of militants was discovered in the province of West Azerbaijan. During the arrest of its members the security forces seized large quantities of weapons and ammunition, RIA Novosti reported.
