The Iraqi Air Force launched a series of strikes on ISIS positions in Syria, News.am reported citing TASS news agency.
Press service of Iraqi PM, commander of the country’s armed forces, Haider al-Abadi, said that these airstrikes targeted the terrorists’ command unit in Syria.
The Iraqi PM had given the order for this military operation.
