The head of parliament's defense and security committee in Iraq, Hakim al-Zamili, said that Iraq might be forced to ask Russia to launch airstrikes against Islamic State on its territory.
According to him, Iraq wants to see Russia having a bigger role than the United State in the fight against Islamic state, Gazeta.ru reports.
