Iraqi Kurdistan creates Yazidi-women unit to fight Daesh

Iraqi Kurdistan completed the formation of the first combat unit, consisting entirely of women from the Yazidi community.

It is assumed that the unit was created in order to fight against Daesh terrorist group, banned in Russia.

Soon it will be deployed to the contact zone near Sinjar city, which is located in the Iraqi province of Nineveh.
