The authorities of the Kurdish autonomy in northern Iraq plan to start supplying natural gas to Turkey by the end of 2016, an economic adviser to the Kurdistan Regional Government, Bewar Hansi, told at the Iraqi television station ‘Alsumaria’
"The government of the Kurdistan region plans to supply natural gas to Turkey by the end of 2016. The region will daily export of 10 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe via Turkey and at the beginning of 2020 it is possible to increase production to 20 billion cubic meters", RIA News quotes Hansi as saying.
