Irina Viner-Usmanova: World Cup in Baku is held in magnificent hall with wonderful audience

Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup competitions in Baku were held in a magnificent hall with a wonderful audience, President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, Irina Viner-Usmanova, said in an exclusive interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.

"This hall is amazing, the audience is wonderful, conditions for training are help to show great results," she said.

Summing up the results of competitions, she noted that Russian team showed good results. "We won in two competitions, both Averin sisters won. The results are pretty good. But still, we noticed some mistakes that we should work on as best as possible," Irina Viner-Usmanova said.

The FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, AGF Trophy was held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

More than 200 gymnasts from 39 countries participated in the World Cup. During the event, 25 teams were competing in group exercises and more than 70 gymnasts were performing in individual programs.
