The Azerbaijani karate fighter Irina Zaretska beat Marina Rakovica from Montenegro in the kumite karate category up to 68 kg with a minimum score of 1:0, and secured the right to fight for the title of champion of the First European Games. To reach the title she needs to defeat the Austrian Alice Theresa Buchinger in the finals, who defeated Heleno Kvirichi from Switzerland with a score of 2:0.
