Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili promised Georgian citizens to return and get rid of "feudal lords," he said in a video message published on his Facebook page.
Video was recorded on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of overthrow of Aslan Abashidze's regime in the Adjarian Autonomous Republic. Saakashvili claims that right now he is in Amsterdam.
"Of course, I would be happy to congratulate you, Adjarians, and all citizens of Georgia, not from the streets of Amsterdam, but directly from Batumi," he said.
He stressed that he plans to return to Georgia in order to "get rid of feudal lords."
"I have big plans, I will definitely return soon," Saakashvili concluded.
Earlier Saakashvili urged opposition to unite to fight against the ruling "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" party and its founder Bidzina Ivanishvili.
Last month former President of Georgia announced that he plans to return to his homeland in order to raise standard of living of the population.
