Is it better not to change the new government of Georgia?

Despite the minimal changes in the composition of the Government of Georgia, proposed to the Parliament by Giorgi Kvirikashvili today, the Legislative Assembly is counting on rapid changes in the Cabinet, as they require an improvement in the efficiency of the Georgian executive authorities.

This is evidenced both by the majority party and the opposition. So, confidence in the resignations and appointments in the government was expressed by Chairman of the Committee of Branch Economy and Economic Policy, MP of the majority Zurab Tkemaladze.

"Kvirikashvili will implement certain changes in order not to make hasty decisions in spring. The government is working successfully, but it needs a new vision," Sputnik-Georgia she cites him as saying.

The political secretary of the party New Rights Manana Nachkebia supported the executive power of Georgia. "I think that it would have been a wrong decision to leave the government unchanged, as the government needs to be updated, not only in terms of personal composition, but also structural,'' he explained.

As for completely pessimistic viewpoints in respect of the future of the Georgian government, Giorgi Akhvlediani, one of the leaders of the Democratic Movement party, expects that even with the renewed government the country will ruled by billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili.

Kvirikashvili comments vaguely on expected reforms in the government. "It is possible that the work will be continued, together with the team. It is also not ruled out that some changes may be made," Irakli Garibashvili's successor said.

In an interview with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, a member of the Expert Club of Georgia Vakhtang Maisaya assumed that the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers will undergo some new changes in the near future.

"First of all, it is likely that Minister of Foreign Affairs will leave his post. Secondly, changes will be made in the economic bloc. This is very important, because they affect ministers who deal with economic and financial issues," he said.

According to the expert, changes in the government will continue to be made as there are "serious disagreements within the governing coalition and great confrontation between the Georgian Dream and the Republican Party, who hold the main position the ruling coalition."
