Aeroflot cancels more than 40 flights

Russian airline Aeroflot cancelled dozens of flights on Monday due to a failure in the airline's information systems.

Aeroflot said it had cancelled 49 flights after reporting a failure in its information systems.

The company is working to minimize risks to its flight operations plan and restore normal service operations.

"Specialists are currently working to minimize the impact on the flight schedule and to restore normal service operations," the statement reads.
