Uzbekistan is preparing to celebrate Independence Day. President Islam Karimov ordered to move the day from Saturday August 29 to Monday August 31, thus citizens have three days of rest.
It is reported that such tmeasure was taken to create "favorable conditions for the rest of the population and rational use of working time."
