Egypt and other Muslim states consider Karabakh an integral part of Azerbaijan’s territory and will support Baku if Yerevan decides to stage a new provocation in the region.
The countries of the Islamic world support Baku in the struggle for the integrity of the country and believe that Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijan, the rector of the Nur-Mubarak University in Egypt, Muhammad al-Shahat Abdulhamid Muhammad al-Jindi, said at a press conference "Islamophobia as a Specific Form of Racism and Discrimination : New Global and Transnational Challenges" held in the capital of Azerbaijan.
He stressed that Egypt knows perfectly well that Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan, while Yerevan occupied the country's territories. Azerbaijan fairly liberated its regions, the rector noted.
He added that the countries of the Islamic world will support Azerbaijan if Armenia decides to stage another provocation in Karabakh.
