The heads of government of Italy and Israel, Giorgia Meloni and Benjamin Netanyahu held telephone conversations, during which they discussed the joint fight against terror.
"During the conversation, the leaders reaffirmed the continuation of cooperation between Israel and Italy in a resolute and uncompromising fight against terror",
the office of the head of the Israeli government said.
The Israeli Prime Minister also expressed condolences on behalf of all Israeli citizens in connection with the death of Italian tourist Alessandro Farini and the injury of two of his friends as a result of a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv.
