Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu draw parallels between the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Adolf Hitler.
"We will not allow the Iranian regime to acquire nuclear weapons. We will not allow him to establish himself militarily in Syria, which he seems to be striving for," Haaretz cited the Israeli prime minister as saying.
Netanyahu said that Ali Khamenei is an image of the "new Hitler of the Middle East", but he admitted that there are a number of important differences between Iran and Nazi Germany.
The head of the Israeli government also stressed that both regimes unite "unreasonable obligations to kill Jews".
